the sky was aglow through the heaven pinholes-

& we drove and drove- into the dark-

& we watched the star's kindle and spark.

the heavenlies were falling down, down, down.

& my heart was spinning round, round, round.

there is mystery and faith in that distant mass of space-

though their miles away, I can feel shadows on my face.

& your into me like gravity,

pulling me deep, almost fast asleep,

into your wonder,

love like thunder,

down, down, down,

falling to the ground, ground, ground.

how can your love consume me like fire?

like I'm a burning flame of heart-running sky wild.

petrify me, launch me like the stars you create,

mold me into your heavenly jewel as I wait.

set me like a jewel on your crown, crown, crown,

Love paints the sunset

my heart is drawn to fields that 

we run through and just let 

heaven do the talking.

The dark shade of blue fades into the sky

the mystery gazes into our eyes.

Spread out under telephone wires

watching distant burning fire.

The stars, they hung there all wild,

like beautiful sounding music, from the telephone wires.

I looked up and thought

 'wouldn't it be neat if we could play the stars"?

In the dark, I thought,

'I bet that'd sound amazing, if I could sing the stars."

I don't know what their song might be,

But I will sing.
